The year I turned 50, I had a HUGE shift in my life that caused me to rethink everything. At a time when many people are beginning to think about showing down, I decided to ramp up and totally reinvent what I wanted my life to look like. Over the next couple of years I would quit my job, move to a new city, and open a fledgling little side hustle building websites.

That little business has grown and today Alford Creative is a respected communications and digital agency that helps public impact nonprofits and other human-centered organizations get traction online. My little team of one has grown to include 10+ people who bring expertise in web development, SEO, content marketing and more to serve our clients.

Along the way, I have continued to be haunted by the statistic that 8 out of 10 small businesses fail. Even those that start strong with a great offering and smart owners often don’t set up the systems necessary to get them to the next level. So, I decided to tap ito my expeirnce and bring the successes of our corporate clients to smaller businesses who needed to DIY their marketing….and MyDigitalMojo was born.
